Aren't these just cool? Antique glass bottles from the sea, brought to land by a diver out on Long Island, NY, who has been recovering these bottles for years (read here). White Flower Farmhouse was able to purchase a portion of his collection and has them up for sale now. Some of the antique glass bottles are round soda bottles and 11" tall, others are small square ones and sold in groupings.

There's no photo of the entire room, but I wanted your vote on this eccentric living room chandelier!


It's adorned with driftwood sticks that are secured to the chandelier using a glue gun and some wire. To learn more visit Cottage Life. I've never seen anything like it! So...

A while ago I shared the link to a post about the Hawaiian Sunrise Shell by Lisa of Seashell Finery on My Twitter, and Kim of Cottage responded, saying "we were lucky enough to find one (see here) at Mauna Kea on the Big Island back in 2004 and had it framed." And beautifully framed it is!


The Sunrise Shell, Lisa writes, was given it's name because the best time to find it was in the early morning, when the sun's light would reflect off the shell's beautiful vibrant hues, making it easier to spot.
